Nylon Banana Jigs (small)

## NOTE - JIGS ARE AVAILABLE WITH TWO DIFFERENT HOOK TYPES ##

  • Eagle Claw for fishing light tackle (not suited for medium(+) braid)
  • Mustad XXH if you want to fish heavier (suited to medium(+) braid)

These synthetic (nylon) tailed versions of the Bucktail Banana Jig were developed in collaboration with Ryan Thipthorp (Host of Fishing WA) for the Cockburn Sound pink snapper season and the Swan River flathead fishery.

They feature extra long tail material to give the jig a larger profile in the water, yet still retaining their light weight for the relatively shallow conditions where the snapper are targeted.

Designed to be cast and retrieved back with a jerk and pause action, allowing the jig to rise and fall like a darting baitfish.

Target Species:

  • smaller sizes suitable for flathead, flounder, skippy, herring, sooty grunter.
  • larger sizes suitable for various trevally, queenfish, mackerel, pink snapper, mangrove jacks, fingermark, saltwater barramundi, coral trout etc.

Features:

  • 'forged' Eagle Claw or Mustad XXH hooks.
  • premium powder paint, oven baked to form a super durable finish.
  • clear overcoat for added finish durability.
  • hand painted enamel eyes.
  • glow coloured heads can be charged up with a torch or light, they will then glow in the dark. UV light will provide the best charge.
  • tails hand bound, bindings sealed with epoxy resin for longevity.
  • extra long tail (3/4oz and up).
